Top Team challenge from sport Canterbury!

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In week 6 on Friday we had the people from top team come in to run a few challenges for us. My favourite was the water one where you tip your container of water into the person behinds. There were activities like connecting pipes to roll a ball into a bucket. There was also the burst pipe where you have to hold your fingers over the holes and a block building activity. The first one we did was the bean bag slingshot. In it someone would fire the bean bag and the others had to catch it and put it in the bucket. Another I enjoyed was the sack race where you just had to go back and forth and each time we had to change two people. We also did a mystery maze. In that we had to move to different squares to find a path to the end. After all the activities my clothes dried quickly because in the water activities I didn't get that wet.

Tough kids fun mud run!

Hello and welcome back. In week 6 we had our super fun mud run from Tough kids Mash. It was one of the best runs I have ever done. My favourite part was the slippery water slide. My teacher Miss Lover told me to dive and slide on my stomach, so I did. I got lot's of soap everywhere. It was run by M.A.S.H. Me and my friend William ran the whole way together. In it we had to wade through water and climb through bouncy castles and over tyres. There were lot's of other schools there. Here is an image of the water slide.

The run was really good fun to do and others probably felt the same as well.

Sport rotations: Cricket, Korfball, Softball and Lawn bowls!

Kia Ora! Welcome back to my blog. Throughout the last four weeks we have done four sport rotations. We did my favourite cricket, korfball, softball and lawn bowls. One of them I had never played nor heard of before. Korfball. It is a really fun game which is basically like netball. I loved playing cricket and when I batted the last bat I did I smacked a four straight past someone. In softball on my first hit I smacked it far and got two home runs. I tried to go for a third but the aim for the fielders was for everyone to touch the ball and everyone had touched the ball. I had done lawn bowls before and it was fun. It was against my brother and I won.

Football Term 3!

Hi again and welcome back. I know we finished winter sport a long time ago but I need to talk about it. I played football in the C team with coaches Miss Lover and Mrs Rooney. I got my first goal in term two! Which I was super proud of because I had never had a goal yet. Throughout the season I got five goals. Two in one game, two in another game and one in the last game of the season. We played at Hagley park.

Winter Sport Football!

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Throughout the term we have been doing winter sport. People had the choose of Rugby, Football, Hockey or Netball. I choose football and got put in the C team. I personally think it is the better team because we have lots of fun on the field and really cool players that are very funny. We go to Hagley park and my team plays near Hagley oval most times. 
So far we have won three games and lost four or five games. It is really fun to play at Hagley park. What winter sport do you play? Tell me about it in the comments. See ya.
